Got my tax return this weekend, $2,500, fucking awesome! Love the feeling of having $5,000 on the account. Looking into buying a trail bike for it, would be so much fun around here. It’s not the easiest thing to find in a town of 7,000 people though, might have to get one sent from Darwin. :/
Been working full time at the hostel for a bit more than a week now, and I’m actually loving it. Wouldn’t know what title to put on what I do since it’s a bit of everything, been sanding and fiberglassing a swimming pool, done reception work and so on. Good fun all in all, and Lisa and Bertus are great people to work for, especially compared to a certain previous boss.
